ADA INFORMATION
Unit #10 is our ADA unit. It has extra wide doorways, and an easy grasp front door handle. There are bars in the roll-in shower and by the toilet for stability.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
For those of you flying your own plane into Manzanita, we can pick you up from the Nehalem Bay State Park airstrip with prior notice.
There is transportation to and from Portland International Airport by way of connecting a series of local buses and the MAX, (MAX is Portland’s mass transit system that can take you right to the airport from different locations in Portland). Please ask for that information in the office.
AMENITIES
We can provide you a Pack-N-Play, sheets, and blankets with advance notice.
Also available are, beach chairs and umbrellas.
If you need additional blankets, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion or needle and thread, we have that for you as well.
ATM SERVICE
The nearest ATM is located at the US Bank at 536 Laneda Ave.
The next is 1st Security Bank located at 715 Laneda Ave. Both are in Manzanita.
BEACH ITEMS
There is a beach sheet/blanket in the closet for use on the sand.
In the office we have beach chairs and a small assortment of beach toys.
BELL SERVICE
During office hours we are available to help with your luggage. Please let us know upon check in that you would like help.
CAR REPAIR/TOWING
The nearest car repair/towing service is Scovel’s Service Center & Towing, located at 848 Hwy 101 in Manzanita. 503-368-5335
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
Check-in is at 4:00 pm. If the room is ready before then you may check in early, however it is best to call us to see if this is a possibility.
Check out is 11:00 am. No late checkouts on Sunday.
COMPLIMENTARY TREATS
In our office we offer assorted teas, coffee roasted for us by Astoria Coffee Company, and fresh cookies, baked for us by The Roost, located in Wheeler, Oregon.
COMPUTER (for guest use)
There is a computer and printer for guest use in the main office during from 10:00 am-5:00 pm daily.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, personal checks, and cash.

FAX MACHINE
Unfortunately, we no longer have a fax machine. There is currently no faxing service available locally.
FIRE EMERGENCY
Each unit is equipped with smoke and CO2 detectors. Each unit also has a fire extinguisher in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.

HOUSEKEEPING/Maid Service
(This service has been suspended, you may call the office if you need anything)
We have “limited maid service”, only when requested, and preferred by the majority of our guests. It consists of the following:
- Emptying trash.
- Making beds. (Please note that we will not make the beds if there are personal items on or touching the beds).
- Replacing towels, amenities, and other items if requested.
- For weeklong-reservations we will change your sheets if requested, Mid-way through your stay. (Please note we will not change sheets or make the bed if there are any personal items on or touching the bed.
If you desire service or an amenity, please notify the office staff. We are happy to provide whatever you may need. Office staff is on site from 9:00 am through 5:30 pm, every day.
INTERNET
We offer free WIFI. Current password located on your kitchen table at check-in.
LAUNDRY
We have two washers & dryers available for guest use. They are located in our back building near the entrance to Unit #8. Please let the office staff know if you wish to use this facility, as they will give you a time that it is availalbe for use each day. The cost is $1.00 to wash and $1.00 to dry. We provide laundry detergent.
LOST AND FOUND
We hold left behind items for two weeks. We will try to contact you immediately when they are found. If no response after two attempts, useable items are donated. You will be charged a $5 Return Item Service Fee plus USPS Postage to return your items that were left behind.
MAIL AND MESSAGES
We do accept packages for our guests, but please note there is there no mail delivery in Manzanita. Our P.O. Box is 113.
There are phones in each unit but no voicemail available. We will be happy to take phone messages for you if needed.
PARKING
Each unit in our oceanfront building has its own private garage.
If your vehicle does not fit in the garage you may park on the pad in front of the garage or use street side parking.
Each unit in our back building has one parking spot in the carport under their unit with the exception of #10. Unit #10 may park in front of their unit. Visitors may park on the street.
PET POLICY
We are happy to provide 5 pet friendly units. These units are #2, 3, 4, 6 & 7. Only two pets per unit allowed. Maximum 2 medium sized pets (dogs) allowed in units 102, 103, 104, 106 and 107.
(Add an additional $30 per night up to $180.00 for one pet, second pet is $10 per night.
(No cats or other animals allowed.)
RECREATION/ACTIVITIES
Manzanita has a plethora of outdoor and indoor activities for all tastes and fitness levels. Here are a few; on land – hiking, biking, golfing, beachcombing, horseback riding, shopping, yoga, and health clubs; on the water – fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddling, boating, surfing, windsurfing and kite- boarding.

Reservations are made by phone online or in person. Please call us toll free at 1-866-368-7701 from 9:00 am through 5:30 pm seven days a week if you wish to reserve a room.

NATURAL DISASTERS
Natural Disasters, (Fires, Floods, Tornados, Earthquakes, Tsunamis etc.,) are not common, but in the event of a natural disaster we have provided one “Survival-Go Bags” per room. These bags are provided for you in the event a natural disaster has occurred. They will provide you with the basic items you might need to get safely to the “Assembly Area” where you will be given further instructions, as well as map of how to get to the Assembly Area from the hotel.
*The location of the bags in units 101-104 is in the bedroom closets.

In the event of an Earthquake
protect yourself right away. Drop, Cover and Hold on! If in bed, stay there, cover yourself with a pillow. If outdoors stay outdoors. Do not stand in doorway, and do not run outside. Be aware of your surroundings for falling debris. When shaking has stopped, head to higher ground and the assembly areas as indicated on the map attached to the bags.
